Get your share of beauty sleep
The best things in the world are free, aren’t they? This is true even in the case of skincare. While you’re sleeping away in glory, your skin performs crucial functions of repair and renewal. Furthermore, not getting 7-8 hours of sleep will lead to those pesky under-eye bags. You don’t want your friends asking, “Have you been crying, dude?” when in reality, you’ve just been cheating on sleep with a new series on Netflix.
So remember that beauty sleep is a real thing, especially if you’re looking to get glowing skin. To truly benefit from it, do as follows:
- Switch your cotton pillowcase for a silk one (it helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles!)
- Wake up around the same time every day—yes, this includes the weekends too!
- Get rid of makeup before getting comfy in bed
